CrisTales

CrisTales is a turn-based action RPG videogame developed by Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, and published by Modus Games. Ages. We will meet her allies and their powers, as we walk through beautiful locations inspired by real ones from the creators home country, Colombia. The game is a tribute to classic JRPGs, but it's art is heavely influenced by Colombian culture, which makes it very visually interesting and original. For us it was a priority to reflect this combination, and to respect as much as possible the 2D style of the original game in this animation that we made for the launch of the playable demo, in July 2020. The biggest challenge was to represent the three simultaneous temporary spaces in our animation, that are characteristic of the game's mechanics.
