Sunshine Animation is an animation studio based in Madrid. We specialize in making 2D animation videos, trailers, and videogame cinematics. Our services cover all stages, including everything from video pre-production (character design, storyboard, color script...) to animation, backgrounds, and post-production.

Courses
At Sunshine we have spent years teaching through various courses and workshops. We teach traditional frame-by-frame animation with Toon Boom software. These are some of the courses we have taught.
In person:
- Clean up training SPA Studios (I and II) (2017)
- Clean up and colour on the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) animation master's (2015-present)
- Toonboom animation at ESDIP (2013-2016)
- Toonboom Harmony at Trazos (2019)
- 2D FX course with Toonboom Harmony at UTAD (2021)
How do we work?
The studio
Sunshine Animation is formed by a group of artists with a shared love for 2D animation and video games.
Since the studio's doors first opened in 2014, our work has progressively focused on creating trailers, openings, and cinematics for video games on an international scale.
We especially enjoy collaborating with indie games developers and publishers. Because we are a small studio, our entire team is involved in each project and works hand in hand with the client to shape and develop their ideas. For us, communication between the two studios is critical to collaboratively create a video of the highest quality that is representative of us and captivates both parties.
