Devikins

Devikins is an RPG game developed by Moonlab Studios. We were commissioned to create a trailer introducing The Void, the fantastical setting where players can gather, breed, and engage in combat with their Devikins. The challenge of graphically conveying the wonderful, yet nostalgic atmosphere of the game was what we found most interesting. This trailer gave us the chance to work on some elaborate and painterly backgrounds, and experiment with giving the characters a less anime and more textured appearance.
